Ecobankers across Africa have been visiting communities and hospitals to deliver mosquito nets to fight malaria.
The funds were raised in support of World Malaria Day in April 2017. Following a successful internal fundraising campaign Ecobank employees across Africa raised an incredible US$22,000.
Over the last weeks, staff in Uganda, Kenya, Guinea and Niger visited local communities and hospitals to distribute long lasting insecticide treated nets. Ecobank Gambia also donated US$1,131 to the Gambia National Malaria Control Programme.
Thanks to the generosity of Ecobankers the global fight to eradicate malaria is taking another step forward in Africa.
