The Academy’s innovative development programmes are aimed at improving health and education systems across the African continent through rigorous financial management, effective leadership development and sound implementation capabilities.
We have launched programmes with partners like the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
In November 2018, finance managers from Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Niger, Senegal and Togo were among the first Global Fund beneficiaries to attend the Ecobank Academy. Through the training they were equipped with the additional administrative and management skills required for managing donor fund investments.
In March 2019, 150 members of staff of the Africa regional office of the IFRC attended a customised training programme to enhance their management skills.
