We have published our 2023 Annual Report, which details the ways in which we contributed to improving the lives of Africans during the year.
The highlights of our activities in 2023 included:
- We celebrated the 10th anniversary of Ecobank Day. Over 14,000 Ecobankers gave back to their communities and got involved in the first of our three-year ‘Transforming Africa Through Education’ campaign.
- We implemented multiple high-impact activities to empower women and girls, including our ‘Bias No More’ series encouraging them to pursue careers in STEM and ICT; and our support for the Programme of Excellence for Women in Africa by DoWellDoGood, by providing 100 female students with leadership skills to help them become strong and impactful leaders.
- Our high impact ‘Zero Malaria Businesses Leadership Initiative’ – which mobilises the private sector to help prevent and eliminate malaria – reached total donations of US$5.94 million from 57 companies, and also saw Ghana become the fifth country to join the initiative.
Huge thanks to all Ecobankers and our fantastic partners – DoWellDoGood, the Global Partnership for Education, Speak Up Africa, UNDP, UNITLIFE and UN Women – we couldn’t have done it without you!
