Ecobank Group has partnered with Junior Achievement (JA) Africa to mobilise over 600,000+ young people across the continent and educate them in financial literacy.

Young Africans are less likely to have a bank account than adults on the continent but are more digitally savvy. The partnership, titled ‘Banking on Africa’s Youth’, taps into JA’s vast online community of over one million young social media followers. It seeks to grow financial inclusion for young Africans using Ecobank’s mobile and digital services.

By educating young people in the importance of money management skills, we aim to empower them to build a culture of savings as part of their personal financial habits.
