We are collaborating with UNITLIFE, the UN initiative dedicated to fighting chronic malnutrition, to raise awareness and funds on this disease affecting a third of African children.
144 million children under the age of 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition worldwide. In Arica, 1 in 3 children do not eat a diet that meets their nutrient needs during the first 1,000 days of their lives.
As a result, they face life-long consequences on their physical growth, cognitive development and the immune system.
Through our ‘Make the connection’ fundraising campaign, we are calling on all Africans to show solidarity and help us eradicate chronic malnutrition in our children – so they can make the connections they need to lead rewarding lives.
