Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global emergency affecting 9 million people, with Africa bearing the highest burden.
In 2015 alone, an estimated 1 million children became ill and 170 000 died of TB. Today, many cases still go undiagnosed.
TB, which is both curable and preventable, stops communities in Africa from developing and thriving. That’s why Ecobank and the Ecobank Foundation join the fight. We proudly support partners like The Global Fund by strengthening the financial management skills of TB grant recipients in Africa.
