How Africa’s private sector can contribute to ending malaria

Ahead of World Mosquito Day, Carl Manlan spoke with Speak Up Africa’s Founder and Executive Director Yacine Djibo about the role that the private sector can play in the fight against malaria.

In the interview Carl discusses the human and economic cost of malaria as well as why we should also focus on other diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also explained the reason for Ecobank launching the Zero Malaria Business Initiative, a collaboration with Speak Up Africa. The initiative galvanises private sector businesses and SMEs to lend their voice, expertise and support to help eliminate malaria across the continent.
